4. Faculty Webinar Series

i. A flyer is available for download, highlighting a nursing overview session. A new paid option for enhanced nursing tutoring, including writing for nursing and patient studies. Dr. LeBron indicated that if the enhanced nursing feature was turned on for the group, it would be billed based on usage, similar to the current billing model. ii. Live Training Options • Karen is interested in working with the group on additional faculty training or use cases. There is interest in planning a faculty webinar series through the den, starting next academic year, to showcase Brainfuse features for both students and faculty. The series could include badges and be incorporated into the tech tool course for ongoing access. iii. Contract List • Karen needs the contact list for the group. Updates have been made based on email responses, and individuals are asked to double-check the accuracy of the admin information. The list includes admins for Brainfuse who receive institutional-level communication and access to the admin dashboard. iv. Addition of General Study Skills • Dr. Wilhite mentioned that Karen stated that a new piece had been added to Brainfuse offerings that is available to turn on for General Study Skills. It is aligned with what was taught in college study skills. For most schools, it was LLS in the course numbering systems. No additional charges for this. It has been turned on, and it will show up on the Brainfuse report.

F. MSVCC Committee Reports 1. Admin – No Report

2. Support – Anna Davis (CLCC) mentioned that the committee is seeking a vote on whether to continue negotiations with Turnitin or start the RFP process. Dr. LeBrun mentioned ITS can work with the association to utilize a government portal for RFPs and gather criteria from other institutions. i. Criteria for Searching (Mentioned by Dr. Wilhite)

• Faculty survey results regarding Turnitin usage, needs for a plagiarism detection solution, and AI were the starting point.
