Michell Mitchell, PRCC, mentioned that for PRCC, she had informed her faculty before they left prior to graduation to screenshot their rubric, print for Turnitin, and that most likely we would t have Turnitin for the summer and could not inform them for the fall. That Turnitin would be turned off on June 1 st , so that they had until June 1 st to get what is desired from Turnitin. She mentioned that PRCC has Grammarly Authorship, which records students’ writing process in Word (tracks typing and copy/paste behavior) to provide insight into authorship. So, they recommended that faculty have students submit that report along with anything else they are submitting for their writing assignments. Which is the process for this summer. Buffy Matthews, MGCCC, mentioned that MGCCC has done something similar. She mentioned that she has notified faculty and chairs so that they could share that with their faculty. She mentioned that she has specifically spoken to her English faculty to inform them that the tool would no longer be available after June 30. She advised downloading feedback and materials before June 30. Mentioned CopyLeaks as a potential replacement (not finalized). She mentioned that she thinks she has communicated this in the spring semester with Instructional Affairs and Student Services Councils, so that they were aware as well. Denise Gillespie, ICC, mentioned that for ICC, they have not made a formal summer-wide communication yet. She mentioned that the English division was involved in the pilot. So, some individuals have seen it, they will manager it as best as they can. Plan to manage summer transition as needed. Erin Richardson, MCC, mentioned that NWCC did the same thing that Buffy Matthews mentioned. They notified the English coordinators and directors. Faculty was advised to prepare for a possible June 30 shutoff. Hoping to provide clarity before the fall semester so that the instructors would have time to download everything in the month of June. 6. CityLabs - Dr. LeBrun mentioned that the CityLabs renewal quote was the first quote. No negotiations have taken place, but for full transparency, it is significantly higher than our previous quote she did as a cost comparison. She mentioned that she didn’t have to do it until year three of the contract, which went into effect on October 1, 2025 through November 30, 2026. That is when she added on UDOIT.
