Denise Gillespie, ICC, asked Dr. Christa Wilhite if she should send out a formal poll or do one in an email. She asked if she would include the question of who uses multi-factor authentication with Canvas login. She said she feels like that’s about to come out. She stated that it would be nice to have that information in the same place: who already does that and who doesn’t. Dr. Christa Wilhite, MCCB, stated that she has duly noted Denise Gillespie’s request. She mentioned that that was a great idea and if there’s any other kind of security-type information that the group would like polled, she could do that, and it will be on one report. She mentioned that she wanted to share that we reviewed the enrollment tool after the campus security incident. Hive examined it and did not see evidence of a breach. However, he recommended reconsidering self-registration because it creates a more public-facing login point.
III. MSVCC Committee Reports 1. Admin : Buffy Matthew, MGCC, stated policies and procedures update forthcoming. 2. Support: Anna Davis. CLCC stated no updates. 3. Quality: Meeting update (Michelle Pickerings, MGCCC) • Updating course design standards • Incorporating accessibility standards • Some institutions piloted Insights • Framework documentation in progress, and working to put that on paper IV. Michelle Mitchell, PRCC, mentioned that she did not receive many changes after she sent it to the group. She informed the group that page numbers may be different now, as they made several formatting adjustments throughout the document. The first proposed change is the addition of an Approval Log on the second page of the document. This will help us track the different versions of the Policies and Procedures Manual. In addition, they will add in the footer of the document title and version. This will help ensure we are all working from the correct version and prevent multiple versions of the PMP from circulating. Secondly, they will remove the publication reference, as it will no longer be necessary. The next update related to adding the State Reimbursement section and the referenced Senate Bill. Since that information changes annually, we added a note clarifying that the formal section
