State authorization requirements That alignment is included in the Governance Framework documentation. I have never been asked to provide the Strategic Plan as part of procurement justification. However, if the body wants to continue using the Strategic Plan as part of procurement justification, it may need to be aligned with our annual needs assessment to demonstrate a clear connection to purchasing decisions. She mentioned that she will leave that up to the body. That said, MAC has never requested a copy of the Strategic Plan from me. Angel Nickens, NWCC, asked a question if we had talked about going away with the Strategic Plan. Michelle Mitchell, PRCC, answered and mentioned, yes, that is what Denise Gillespie is asking. Angel Nickens, NWCC, asked if the AOA or any of them have a Strategic Plan. She mentioned that she knows that every college has its own Strategic Plan. Which she bases her budget on has to tie back to it. She asked the questions if any of the other committees had a Strategic Plan. Michelle Mitchell, PRCC, mentioned that she is not a part of those groups, and she has no idea. Denise Gillespie, PRCC, mentioned that she is not aware of any. That she has never heard it brought up in AOA. Dr. Krista LeBrun, MCCB, mentioned that she is not aware of the MAC maintaining a separate Strategic Plan. Buffy Matthews, MGCCC, mentioned that all information goes through committees and then is brought to the Association. She mentioned that she thinks we would be okay with removing the Strategic Plan.
