NEWSLETTER CONTRIBUTORS Meaning - continued
Dr. Erin Eaton
Most importantly, I believe Frankl would tell us to “buck up.” As weird as this has been, it is nothing compared to the losses and struggles of our forebearers. We can handle this. And, Frankl would likely say, come out better for it. So what is the alternative? How do we press on? I sincerely believe that Frankl was right. And after experiencing the trials of Job, he is worth listening to. It’s about finding meaning in the mundane. In the eve- ryday. In the people we love. In our work. In others. I pray none of us ever experience the losses that our beloved Dr. Frankl endured. I also pray that through our current uncertainties, we find inspiration from him. That we find inspiration from our mothers and fathers. Our aunts and uncles. Our grandparents. That we - each and every one - find meaning.
