BREAK FOR TEAM BUILDING

1. Create memorable experience with your team

Does anyone on the team like to cook, paint, or workout? Enlist someone on the team to lead a creative event. Create polls for everyone to answer or breakout rooms for people to join

2. Check-in before, during, and after meetings

A regular meeting isn’t enough time to engage with your team

3. Take time to recognize how the team is feeling It may be difficult for some to feel productive when working from home with constant distractions 4. Make meetings less structured and more personal Share what music you’re listening to, shows you’re binging, or new recipes 5. Show your team members that you care about them—build a sense of community Recognize employee achievements—keep your team from feeling invisible Send small gifts or snacks and have an unboxing event

The COVID-19 pandemic didn’t create employee disengagement—but it definitely made it worse. Find small and meaningful ways to interact and connect. Your teams needs to know that they matter.
