CALL TO ORDER. Mark Smith called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m.

GENERAL DISUCSSION. A.

Mr. Pugh addressed the status on the progress toward procuring a one-year testing license with the Desire2Learn (D2L) platform. He noted that the ITS board meets on November 21, 2003 and that we may have some definitive information related to the financial considerations involved with this procurement. B. Mr. Pugh discussed the problems that D2L is incurring converting Blackboard 6 courses to the D2L format. He also stated that D2L is aggressively working to fix these problems. C. Mr. Smith discussed the testing flaw found on the MGCCC Blackboard 6 system. The flaw is: a student can click the browser back button after completing a test, change answers, and then
