2011 – April eLearning Coordinators Association Minutes Friday, April 15, 2011

A regular meeting of the eLearning Coordinators Association was held on Friday, April 15, 2011 via Wimba. The president and secretary were present. A quorum being established, Jennifer Powell called the meeting to order at 10:09 a.m. Jennifer Leimer moved to approve the agenda. The motion was seconded and carried. Holly Melvin moved to approve the minutes with the necessary corrections. The motion was seconded and carried.

Unfinished Business

Ive Burnett will be adding a disclaimer statement to the MSVCC course offerings page. “All courses may not be offered by individual colleges.”

New Business

No new business was covered at this session.

SBCJC Business

Enrollment Tool Manual – Terry Pollard has reviewed the Strategic Plan. There are three manuals listed to be created. The eLearning Coordinators manual is to be completed in 2011 by his committee. The Enrollment Tool manual is listed to be completed in 2012 by the Enrollment Tool Subcommittee. Terry has found some documents in Audra Kimble’s notes that may be useful in creating the document.

Parature/Presidium Training – The last training session was summer 2010. Terry Pollard polled the group, and the eLCs preferred to have a face-to-face session in June.

Creating Futures Dates – SBCJC will not be able to change the dates of the 2012 Creating Futures Conference. Maybe the dates of the pre-conference can be altered.
