Use the data to make the case to define an target the market. Look for external resources to develop a strategy. Look for opportunities with the Lumina Foundation, Ford Foundation, etc. these entities are both friendly to collaboration/sharing/grand opportunities). Dr. Chaloux stated that he thought that we would not have issues with seeking approval from SACS for offering more than 50% of a degree program online. We probably need to have MSVCC seek a substantive change to request approval for this.

Dr. Chaloux also stated that he thought MSVCC ought to be more branded...kind of like CALL  Q & A

Quality Committee Proposal  Jennifer Leimer presented changes proposed by the MSVCC Quality Sub-Committee  Members voted unanimously to approve proposal with the following changes: o #5 - add summer to third bullet o #6 - one no vote, two recommendations that it be added during ET rewrite o #11 - Request to increase available characters in syllabus and/or allow for syllabus to be added as PDF. o #14 - In the History appendix, include a summary of what changes were made in September 2011 o Request to add a survey link in enrollment status change email that will prompt students to complete a withdrawal survey.  Members were asked to send association members a copy of their current withdrawal survey.  Quality Committee will examine surveys and prepare a proposal to adopt a withdrawal survey  Jennifer Leimer will compile changes and send updated policies and procedures manual to elc association so that it can be brought before the CAOs and President's Association
