have to be available to the entire consortium. a. Enrollment Tool Dates
i. Audra Kimble requested that the consortium discuss the days/dates that are programmed in the Enrollment Tool, to help her in the making of the MSVCC Calendar. The following dates were discussed: 1. Open the Master Course Offering: Open 6 weeks prior to registration. 2. Close the Course Offering: Tabled. 5. Date Courses are Public to Students: Currently, the site opens the day of registration. Currently, it closes after second-short term registration. The group agreed that this date should remain the same. 6. Open Student Registration and Add/Drop: Audra Kimble recommended two days, but some colleges register up to a week. a. ‘First Term’ and ‘Second Term’ have to be built in the Enrollment Tool. 3. First Day of Summer Registration: First Tuesday of April. 4. First Day of Fall Registration: First Tuesday of November. Currently, there is only a ‘Fall Term’ in the ET. Beverlin Givens explained that this is why the current semester had the add/drop feature removed, which had to later be added back. b. The consortium agreed that two days should be publicized for add/drop, for every term (short- and full-term). Summer will also be two days to be consistent. For processing purposes, add/drop will be opened for one full week (Monday to Monday) for every term. c. As a courtesy, the ELCs agreed that communication must take place between the two ELCs at each college if there are any add/drops that are exceptions in which it is necessary to place a student in a course after the second day of add/drop. 7. Close Student Registration: Tabled. 8. Audra will build a template with tentative dates for ELCs to look at the suggested dates. ELCs should carefully look over the template. All dates tabled until November meeting. Beverlin Givens requested that Audit days/dates be included on the template. b. BB IM Project i. Audra Kimble stated that schools should not opt out of sending files to BB IM, because some instructors are requiring BB IM as part of the course. Schools should talk with BB IM representatives if they haven’t already. ii. ELCs expressed that they would like more communication from BB IM regarding student e-mails that are being send out, status of the school’s project, etc. iii. Audra Kimble received a request to disable previous Blackboard courses in BB IM. These were accounts that were previously in Blackboard. The group agreed that these
