d. ZenDesk i. State Board eLearning Office will be implementing ZenDesk. This is what Canvas utilizes for its ticketing system. It will be launched in the next couple of weeks. E-mails will be turned into tickets, which can be escalated and tracked. It will also give reporting data for the State Board to make decisions. e. Vendors i. AspirEDU (Dropout Detective) 1. Audra created a document and e-mailed it to Ronnie Nettles in hope to educate him on what the ELCs desire was in regards to Dropout ii. ProctorU 1. This may be something that the consortium will look at buying for statewide use at a later date; however, at this time many colleges are already using ProctorU on a “student pays” basis. iii. World Wide Whiteboard Pilot 1. The BB Collaborate contract is about to end, and this is another alternative to explore. The Adobe Connect LTI option was a “nightmare” according to Audra. iv. BB Collaborate Detective. Dr. Nettles will present to Presidents for a vote on Tuesday. Colleges should discuss with their Presidents about this software. 1. New quote to include BB IM, Voice Authoring, and Web Conferencing = $452,000 for all three items. This is $16,000 increase from this current fiscal year. The contract must be either reaffirmed or extended in August. If there is a change, we need to make a decision within the next two months. v. BB Archive 1. 1-year Contract that expires on June 30. $43,000 for access to the BB environment to download anything. This last week there was an issue where someone had to go into the BB environment. Audra asked if there is there a need to continue this contract.

a. Motion not to renew made by Krista LeBrun, and seconded by Jennifer James. All schools voted NOT to renew the BB Archive contract.

New Business a. President-Elect Replacement Vote

i. A vote was cast using the online polling feature. Dr. Krista LeBrun was voted to replace Dr. Chris Jenkins as President-Elect. Dr. Jenkins is retiring from East Central Community College.
