2) Quality Matters (QM) Update

a. ITS has a project manager for QM, and Brooke is hopeful that we will have a complete contract by the new year. The three colleges who already have QM contracts will be reimbursed soon.

a. 2019-2020 Calendar Discussion

i. The colleges that offer 3-week online courses looked at dates; SMCC verified that the dates were fine. No further discussion.

A. Instructional Technology Committee Interest for Vote On ReadSpeaker (Tequila Sunrise)

a. ReadSpeaker Pricing: Initial Base Service Fee for installation $4,995.00. First year $46,595.00; Second and Third Year $41,600.00.

b. Tequila asked the group for a vote to pilot. Krista stated that ReadSpeaker would have to be an ITS Contract (6-9 months) even for a pilot.

c. Many colleges in the group expressed that they were hesitant to purchase any other products with the funding formula changes at this point.

d. Shalon stated that in the MELA Community there is a document that lists all services, contract dates, etc. for transparency. Colleges can go back and look at this document and talk with their institutions before making any other purchasing decisions.

B. ET Attendance (Kimberly Ellis)

a. Kimberly asked if Raul could look at attendance data needed for audit in BOTH the SIS (for PRCC students) and the ET (for non-PRCC students), or if only one system had to be used. He verified that using both systems is fine. It was stated that Raul doesn’t care where the data is coming from as long as he gets it. Some colleges such as Hinds and ICC will continue with SIS only attendance, since they put non-PRCC students in the SIS.

C. Proctor Issues (Tish Stewart)

a. Tish asked that colleges express the following with their instructors:
