A meeting of the Distance Learning Coordinator’s Association was held on Wednesday, February 9, 2005 in the Conference Room at the State Board for Junior and Community Colleges building in Jackson, MS.

CALL TO ORDER. Andrea Scott called the meeting to order at 10:03.

II. The minutes from the association meeting on January 19, 2005 were approved as presented. III. Director's report

a. Ms. Kimble asked members to send her any additions that need to be added to the Blackboard portal page. b. Ms. Kimble reminded members to include detailed accounts of problems when reporting Blackboard errors including BB ID, error codes, and step-by-step details of the incident where the problem occurred. c. The Creating Futures through Technology Conference will be held March 6-8. Representatives from Blackboard will be there. D2L has indicated that they may attend, but have not committed as of yet. The association will not meet in March since many members will be attending the CFTTC conference. d. Ms. Kimble asked if there were comments or questions about the policies and procedures manual. Please submit recommendations or changes to Ms. Kimble in writing by the end of March. e. Mrs. Kimble stated that Kathleen Hutchinson is still very interested in coming to each college and presenting a professional development workshop on MELO. Kathleen and Audra will travel
