she would look into it. Dr. Wilhite (MCCB) stated she is okay with redoing the instrument. However, her main concern is how it will be distributed to all students for completion and how the data be used without manually combining the comments. She also added that she subscribes to WCET mix discussions and has bookmarked a link for future reference when evaluations are discussed. She noted an institution in the WCET community embedded a Canvas application for surveying, and it was stated in its post that completion rates soared since the survey tool was integrated into the course. https://www.explorance.com/products/blue 2. Course archiving: individual institution or consortium focus? 1. Jason Zuehlke (MDCC) stated he is trying to find a better understanding about the archiving needs and whether or not that's going to be a consortium focus or institutional focus. Another question he posed was what are the requirements for keeping students’ data. Kelly Gonzales (MCC) stated legally they cannot take action or audit anything before the law went into effect. Buffey Mathews (MGCCC) added that looking at a state system for achieving could be beneficial for the consortium because this is an issue that all 15-community college will deal with and for pricing purposes. She mentioned using K-16 but stated it is very expensive. The support committee agreed to looking into pricing for a service for the consortium. 2. Tish Stewart (HCC) asked everyone to update the Google Doc in the MeLA course by indicating which colleges do and do not allow virtual proctoring? Please answer yes or no to virtual proctoring and state the service used if “yes”. Also discussed was-that all questions concerning proctored tests should be directed only to the eLearning offices 3. Last week’s proctoring issues 1. Angel Nickens (NWCC) asked about creating a secure procedure for giving out passwords that were not available to the proctors and handling issues with tests when proctoring. After input from many institutions the following was determined: a. All questions should strictly come from the eLearning office and/or sent via email b. Name of the main person in charge of proctoring should be noted on the google doc in the MeLA course c. Instructors nor proctors (unless on the list) should call and make requests about testing F. Announcements 1. Reminder that we will not have a March meeting. Our April meeting will be a face-to-face meeting at MCCB Library Commission April 9-10. G. Adjournment 10:00 1.
