RESPONDUS Respondus has no reportable data. Respondus is unable to track usage for Respondus 4.0. Respondus 4.0 is an offline client application, and there is no direct technical connection to institutions’ servers that Respondus can pull from. The Respondus 4.0 download file is generic for all customers. The only distinguishing factor is the unique activation password for each customer. The activation password gets entered into Respondus 4.0 by an instructor doing a simple copy and paste, and Respondus has no way of knowing who is doing that. Respondus is also not set up to track Respondus LockDown Browser use for their System-wide member institutions. The MSVCC Instructional Technology Committee will be conducting a future survey asking the consortium about their estimated usage and satisfaction of services.

SMARTERSERVICES REGISTERBLAST USAGE REPORT

This report shows the usage within RegisterBlast. This data does not include virtual proctoring appointments. Hinds Community College and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College had the highest number of students to attend the proctor lab to take an exam and to register for a proctored exam, respectively, while Coahoma Community College and Southwest MS Community College had the lowest number. Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and Meridian Community College had the highest number of hours, respectively, while Coahoma Community College and Southwest MS Community College had the lowest. Hinds Community College and Holmes Community College had the highest number of reported No Shows, respectively, while Itawamba Community College and East Mississippi Community College had the lowest. It is important to note data for No Shows may not be accurate. If a school does not mark a student as a No Show in RegisterBlast, the number of No Shows will not be reported accurately. • Attended: The total number of people registered for an exam minus No Shows • No Show: The number of No Shows • Registered: The sum of Attended and No Shows • Hours: The amount of time the seat was reserved for (i.e. Number Registered times Exam Duration) • Total Usage: The sum of Registered and Hours *** Note: Some institutions are utilizing RegisterBlast as a revenue stream for non-MSVCC exams and charging those students a fee to take the exam (example: a Mississippi State University student who wants to take an MSU proctored exam at an MSVCC location). This report includes those numbers. All schools within the consortium have the ability to run reports within RegisterBlast to show a breakdown of this data.
