Minimum Requirements:
A Master’s degree from an accredited college or university or Bachelor’s with three years of Adult Education experience. Knowledge and understanding of applicable laws, rules and regulations including the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, the Mississippi WIOA State Plan for Adult Education and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Knowledge of adult education delivery systems and the operational factors unique to diverse local providers in adult education. Knowledge of research-based practices in instruction and program management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to keep meticulous records and write detailed reports and correspondence. Experience developing and delivering professional development/training. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Candidate must be able to work well under pressure, prioritize and plan work activities in order to meet multiple deadlines, manage time effectively, and work collaboratively and independently to achieve stated goals. Frequent in-state travel is a requirement of this position.
