KOLLIN NAPIER Dr. Kollin Napier is the Director of the Mississippi Artificial Intelligence Network (MAIN) with Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (MGCCC). Dr. Napier is a highly accomplished computer scientist, holding a Ph.D. from Mississippi State University with a focus on machine learning, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and software engineering. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. He completed his academic journey with a Master's and Bachelor's from the same institution and an Associates of Applied Science in Information Systems Technology from Jones College. Dr. Napier's professional experience includes several years with the Mississippi State University Extension Service, where he transitioned from software apps developer to software architect, contributing significantly to technological advancements for the state of Mississippi. His expertise blends theoretical knowledge with practical application, driving innovation and excellence in the field of computer science. JONATHANWOODWARD As a small-town Mississippi boy, JonathanWoodward began a career as a singer/guitarist and stepped into the realm of music leadership during his high school years. Dr. Woodward currently serves as Vice President of Teaching & Learning and Community Campus for Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (MGCCC). He has taught every grade from Kindergarten through College and held various leadership positions while working in Gulfport School District, MGCCC’s Jackson County Campus (Instructor, School Chair, and Dean), and MGCCC’s Harrison County Campus (Vice President). Outside of school, Dr. Woodward has a variety of interests. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Gulf Coast Business Council (GCBC) and Board of Directors for the Gulf Coast Symphony Orchestra. He was formerly Chair of the Board of Trustees for Goodwill of South Mississippi and Chair for the Board of Directors for the Gulfport Chamber of Commerce. He was named an Aspen Rising Presidents Fellow in 2020. He is a graduate of Leadership Mississippi, Leadership Gulf Coast, and GCBC Master’s Class. He is also a recipient of the One Coast Community Leader Award and One Coast Top 10 Under 40 Award. Dr. Woodward is actively involved in Crosspoint Church in Gulfport, MS and serves as the Worship Pastor – a church he helped start in 2004. Dr. Woodward regularly presents to organizations about emerging technology, current generational trends, and leadership (e.g., SACSCOC, AERA, AACC, Keynote for Faculty Convocations, etc.). Recently, he has earned the title of King of Coffee at the RaceTrac gas stations.
