MCCB FALL FORECAST
A message from Cynthia Jiles, Assistant Executive Director, Human Resources
MESSAGE FROM HUMAN RESOURCES
T hank you for your continued endeavors to comply with the Pandemic regulations. Your efforts have contributed to maintaining not only a safe working environment but also a safe home environment for both you and your co-workers. Our fall forecast is to rethink what we consider normal, not return to what once was. As persons in the industry of education, we know that life evolves through progressively advancing to meet changes as they occur. This pandemic has taught us (forced even) to learn a new way forward. We have learned that public health and economic viability is intertwined and we must continue to make decisions that recognize where we are and what must be done for sustainability. Will we ever be perfect? No, but we will continue to make the necessary revisions to be effectively responsive and provide support. We have talked about the impact on life in general, but the aim is to also reinforce that your personal choices have community impact. Personal protective equipment is critical and we will continue to make that available to staff. Be mindful that masks are still required in our offic- es.
