Please refer to the Best Practices Handout that Terry Pollard provided. Review item a. i. ii. There were about 75 graduates from the Teaching Effectively Online course offered during the summer 2008 semester. iii. The fall 2008 Teaching Effectively course will begin mid-October. There are currently fifteen individuals that are trained for facilitating these courses. iv. Terry discussed the option of self-enrollments into these courses. SUPPORT – AUDRA LEVERTON. i. Audra stated that she has spoken with Patrick from Presidium and he assured her that he would make necessary changes based on our requests. ii. Christian asked Patrick to provide him with a rubric on the number of people that Presidium is actually helping. We will determine if we are actually getting our money’s worth after reviewing the rubric. I’m very impressed with Parature and feel that this is a great site, but feel like we are not getting the support we need from Presidium. iii. Every Thursday SBCJC has a conference call with Patrick at 2:00p.m. All DLCs are welcome to participate in those calls. iv. Jennifer Leimer stated that there is a problem with a few of the CSRs who send the same escalations over and over. The issues that they are escalating should be issues that can be resolved and corrected by Presidium. v. Christian asked that you if you do not see an improvement over the next few weeks to notify him. He will discuss these issues with Patrick. Christian asked that everyone review the Strategic Plan and Policies and Procedures manual prior to attending boot camp. Once those documents have been updated and approved, he will have to provide those to the President’s Association. ii. Jennifer Leimer requested that we have Dr. Day and Debra Gilbert attend the November DLC meeting to explain the funding formula. Christian and Beverlin will ask that they attend.
