MELA Meeting Minutes 2003 - 2017

Jennifer asked who has been involved in helping write these. Patrick stated that it is built based on the current knowledge base, but it will need to be continuously audited. Jennifer also requested that each school receive the information so that they can make the necessary changes to the knowledge base. When updating the knowledge base, contact Patrick and Shanna so that they can update SIMS. Phyllis requested that we have an update on how to access Parature. The association felt that a second webinar is made available. Patrick stated that they could conduct this in Wimba to create a live classroom. That way the information would be made available to all, even those unable to participate live. Tish recommended that this training occur before the spring semester. Christian stated that SIMS automates the knowledge base. Pulls only the data that the CSR needs. Presidium’s biggest problem is that they make it so that the CSR does not appear to be reading from a script.

They will be providing Shanna with Pronto access. This will provide a direct point of contact with Presidium.

Each school needs to update Parature to reflect the course start/end dates for the spring semester.

Patrick stated that they do have a copied list to operations, but that it would be beneficial to have a specific person’s contact information.

Tish recommended that Presidium be included on the ASP notification emails so that they are aware of issues that Bb may be experiencing with our server.
