1. Two webinars have been scheduled (Mississippi Delta and Hinds). NBC Learn will tailor the session to each college, so if you want a free webinar please contact NBC Learn. 2. User Spotlight – give Audra a name and they will interview the instructor and spotlight them in the website and/or newsletter. ii. READI Renewal 1. Smarter Measure is up for renewal. The MSVCC pays approx. $20,000 a year for this assessment. Audra asked if we would like to renew it or not. Keri asked if there is a way that we can track data through Canvas. Krista mentioned that there is an LTI within Canvas that it integrates with. Krista will reach out to Christy Frazier at Smarter Measure to get more info. (Krista e- mailed the group on 12/2/13 and stated that she heard back from Christy at Smarter Measure, and we would be able to integrate the LTI into our Canvas environment at no additional cost.) 1. Audra will e-mail the group with information on how to test Adobe Connect. ELCs should collaborate with each other to see if we like Adobe Connect or not, and if it would be an alternative to Blackboard Collaborate. 1. Dub Labs is a mobile app to connect the college website, Canvas, and other resources into one spot. Audra said this is not a priority for the consortium, and would have to be bought per college. There is a cut rate for consortium buy-in, which Audra e-mailed out ($16,000 initially, and $10,000 annual). ELCs should send this information out to college IT folks to look into. iii. Adobe Connect iv. Dub Labs i. Elizabeth Spooner requested that survey dates be established. Audra stated that the approved calendar would have dates from this point going forward. Beverlin agreed to send out a calendar with all MSVCC dates that will link to Outlook. ii. The current survey will turn off on Monday morning. Committees a.
