No other details at this time. iv. BB IM (Instant Messaging) 1. Connie reported that Blackboard has ‘cleaned up/solved’ 4 schools issues with BB IM -- (Itawamba, Hinds, Mississippi Delta, and Holmes).

a. ELCs from these schools corrected Connie and said they were not fixed. Only Itawamba is partly fixed (still missing FA15 courses). Hinds, Mississippi Delta, and Holmes are not fixed at all, and are still unable to use BB IM.

Open Forum a. Canvas Roll Call Attendance and Audit (Kimberly Ellis)

i. Kimberly asked about the possibility of using Canvas Roll Call for attendance, and how many colleges would be interested – because it would require special programming at the State level, and on the Canvas side. ii. Audra stated to wait on discussing this. There are changes at the State level, and audit is just now moving electronically and we need for that to take place first. iii. There was discussion about local policies affecting attendance and how it would affect Roll Call Attendance. Many schools have their own homegrown systems, GradesFirst, etc. Some systems automatically remove students when max absences are recorded, etc. b. P&P Question (Haley Duck) i. Haley asked the group about what to do if a student claims identity theft (a student claimed that someone submitted work in Canvas). Other colleges offered suggestions (let Canvas look on the back end at IP addresses, look at previous discussion boards, change password, file a police report, etc.) All colleges had encountered this same situation – most experiences stemmed from students who just didn’t want to pay for the class, and identity theft was proven invalid. c. 4-week classes (Tish Stewart)
