MELA Committee – IT Update for Web Conference Tools (Kim Harris). Looked at new options for webconferencing. Adobe Connect was product. Rosters have to be synced, but it’s customizable. Some free and some are not. Already has Canvas integration. Can build IM component. B. Jennifer James – Library deans and directors meeting update . Krista LeBrun asks if anyone offers anything for nursing online that would be supported by the MSVCC. Tish Stewart indicates that if we are told to buy it that it will be bought. We have asked for usage reports for MSVCC, and we they have not been provided. We have requested it again. Tish Stewart has it locally, and database not being used like they thought. C. New UI: Causes for Concern – 1) New UI does not show a name to see who is logged in to system. Kim Harris says there is a link to vote up the addition of that. 2) Limited with global navigation space. Jeremy Cole will share custom code for side menu. 3) Log out under account.
