d. There was a Canvas App to select sessions, good wifi, interactive & fun sessions, learned about upcoming Canvas tools and resources. There was a lot of walking, nice weather but rained every evening. Better swag than last year. e. New announcement Office 365 integration within the Canvas cloud (in Beta now). Google integration is coming soon. f. Quizzes.Next is the new modern platform for quizzing – everything about building a quiz will change. Will be in Beta soon. g. Arc Video Platform – new tool in Canvas for instructors to give video assignments h. Canvas Apps – Canvas Student, Canvas Teacher, Canvas Parent. The Canvas Teacher App will allow editing & grading abilities! i. Outcomes and Rubric & Learning Mastery Gradebook (if you use Outcomes). j. Canvas wants to keep it simple with no frills, and improve what they have already. k. Google App Script – open source, can integrate into Canvas, for those who like coding. l. California Consortium (113 Colleges) were in attendance. So, many sessions were tailored to new Canvas users, new releases, etc.
