b. MILD Grant Update i.

MILD grants were submitted and approved by the Board in last month’s meeting. Funding is expected the second week of July. ii. In the submittal of this year’s MILD Grants, one institution disputed the wording of professional development being required as a line item. The Admin Committee will evaluate the language that will be used in future MILD Grant guidelines, so that it clarifies and provides specifics of the $3,000 that must be used on professional development. Krista reminded the group that this money was originally set apart for professional development opportunities, and is now combined into the MILD Grant check. However, the purpose of the money has not changed. Laura Sellers has been promoted, and we will be losing her as our CSM. Because we have had so much turnaround with CSMs, Canvas has agreed to give us two new CSMs to replace Laura -- Natalie and Casey (last name not known at this time) . Taylor is the manager of the CSMs, and we have a good relationship with him already. Our monthly meeting days/times will stay the same, and Natalie and Casey will begin leading the meetings in July.
