II. Approval of June Minutes- Marie Roberts made the motion to approve the June minutes, Chris Square seconded, Motion Passed

New Business

A. Krista LeBrun:

1. MILD Grants: Finance division has processed the grants, and payment is pending within the next few days. We should have the funds by Friday; worst case scenario would be Monday. Let Krista know if your college doesn’t receive them by first of next week. 2. SmarterProctoring/Virtual Proctoring Updates: Examity has purchased BVirtual, and SP is partnering with ProctorU, as well. We can choose between either company or go with one. MCCB has requested a comparison matrix for the companies to share with the colleges so we can make an informed decision. We will not have access to BVirtual after Summer ’18. Regarding exam costs, both ProctorU and Examity have agreed to honor pricing that we currently show in our contract. Demo for 2.0 scheduled for next week. It’s not the best time, but it is necessary to move forward for the fall with the progression of the new system. We must move to 2.0 in the fall, so Shalon encourages us to reach out to ensure that we are properly set up to move forward, if we would like individual help. 3. Proctoring RFP Update: 18 months left on contract, ITS recommends place holder in queue to expedite the process should we move forward with RFP. 4. Canvas Training: In negotiating the new contract, we will have the opportunity to attend unlimited trainings via Canvas Training (2 accounts per institution). One email can’t be logged in to two concurrent sessions, so you will need to think thru the logistics. Google doc with information will be sent out so we can list user information, etc.
