1. Follow-up of Needs Survey top 3 2. Summary of top three needs from the MSVCC
committees survey available in the agenda. Encouraged members to review the summary to align with other colleges' needs. Active subcommittees have been working behind the scenes to improve committee processes. Emphasis on purposeful meetings moving forward. 3. Technology Prioritization: a. Fall 2023: Initiated a plan to prioritize technology needs based on a consortium-wide survey. b. Spring 2024: Follow-up survey gathered specifics on the top three needs: accessibility, engagement, and interaction. c. Data will inform committee decisions and actions. 4. Accessibility Tool in Cidilabs a. Exploration and Feedback:
i. Members are encouraged to explore the new accessibility tool in Cidilabs over the summer. ii. A follow-up survey in the fall will assess if the tool meets accessibility needs. iii. Dr. Christa Wilhite plans to create a short overview video on the accessibility feature.
5. UDoIt Tool a. Northwest Community College has been exploring the UDoIt tool within Cidilabs. b. Positive feedback on the tool’s ability to scan and fix accessibility issues. c. UDoIt is affordable and has been well received by NWCC. d. Encouragement to review the current tools and consider UDoIt as an extension if necessary. e. Potential need for access to updated playgrounds for further exploration. f. Committee members should review the provided data and be prepared for upcoming meetings. g. Look for invites and surveys from Christine Davis and Jason for scheduling committee meetings.
