CANVAS BADGES USING BADGR This synchronous webinar will demonstrate how to use badges in Canvas using Badgr. Badgr is a free and open source platform for badge issuing, management, and tracking user achievements. You can use badges to help motivate students to complete the content in your course. Badges can be quickly and easily added to the modules in your course, so that students can unlock a badge each time they complete a module. To make things even easier, the Badgr tool comes with a built in badge designer, where you can either design a badge from scratch or upload your own badge image. THINGLINK: INTERACTIVE IMAGES This synchronous webinar will provide an overview of the free web application, ThingLink. ThingLink is an interactive image tool that allows you to share content with your students. FILMS ON DEMAND This synchronous webinar session will present faculty with the basics of Films on Demand, creating playlists and folders, and embedding FOD images into Canvas courses. CANVA DESIGN TOOL This synchronous webinar will demonstrate how to use Canva Web Application to create professional graphics for your course. Canva is a free web tool that features professional layouts to help you design presentations, homepage banners, buttons, and much more for your course. SPEEDGRADER This synchronous webinar features one of the most innovative and popular tools in the Canvas LMS, SpeedGrader. SpeedGrader allows instructors to grade papers right in the LMS which greatly reduces time spent on grading. This session will teach you the advantages of SpeedGrader and how to use it.

BIODIGITAL HUMAN FOR SCIENCE COURSES This synchronous webinar will introduce participants to a free 3D visual tool for nutrition, social sciences, science, and A & P instructors called Biodigital Human. CANVAS GROUPS Canvas Groups provide a good place to collaborate on projects or to figure out schedules for study sessions.
