MICROSOFT SWAY This synchronous webinar will provide an overview of Microsoft Office Sway, a presentation web app developed by Microsoft. Sway allows users to combine text and media to create a presentable website. Participants will be introduced to Sway (a 100% free software with a Microsoft Account), given best practices and tips for creating Sways, and participate in a live-demo via screenshare to create a group Sway. Instructional faculty may see applications for classroom content delivery, while others may use Sway for training, presentations, and more. SCREENCAST YOUR COURSE! This synchronous webinar will show you how to use free software that allows you to share images and create short videos of your computer screen and various applications. CANVAS APPS The Canvas App Center is your gateway to a world of powerful teaching tools. Even the least tech-savvy teachers can easily browse a library of LTI tools and install them in a single click- no IT help necessary. This synchronous webinar will focus on the easy integration of Canvas LTIs available for teachers to create a truly customized learning experience.

ENGAGING THE ONLINE LEARNER This synchronous webinar will show the importance of student engagement and demonstrate various synchronous and asynchronous learning tools to keep students engaged in an online course. GOOGLE APPS INTRO: DOCS, SHEETS, SLIDES, FORMS During this synchronous webinar, participants will be introduced to Google Drive’s multi-platform, cloud-based products, including Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms, as well as be provided with a tutorial and overview on potential uses for classroom collaboration, departmental organization, feedback, and more. END OF SEMESTER: TIPS & TRICKS This synchronous webinar focuses on course management at the end of the semester. Topics to be covered include grading, downloading grades, Canvas analytic data, cleaning up your Canvas course, course export, preparation for course copy and the next semester. In addition, new Canvas features will also be covered.
