MSVCC Annual Report 2018
ENROLLMENT TOOL The MSVCC Enrollment Tool (ET) is an enrollment management system for MSVCC online courses and students across the 15 Mississippi community colleges. The ET provides access to courses from any Mississippi community college allowing the host college to offer their students additional course options from other institutions. Permissions and processes in the ET are developed by Divisions of the MCCB in consultation with the MELA and the MACJC. ET FEATURE REQUEST PROCESS Enrollment Tool feature requests are directly driven by user feedback. ET feature requests are submitted and are fully vetted before deployment into the production site. Typically during a designated meeting during the Fall and Spring, members of the consortium vote on ET feature requests. STEP ONE: Members of the consortium submit Enrollment Tool (including Attendance Tool) feature requests via the MSVCC ET Feature Request Form which is located in the MELA Canvas Course.

STEP TWO: The eLearning and Instructional Technology Division reviews the feature requests and presents them at the designated MELA meeting
STEP THREE: During the meeting, the person who submitted the feature request makes the motion to vote to approve the feature. If the motion is seconded, the MELA group votes to approve or deny the feature request.
STEP FOUR: After the meeting, the MCCB Director of Instructional Technology compiles a list of the approved feature requests and presents them to the MCCB Director of Applications and Data Management for development. If no questions, request goes into development stage.
STEP FIVE: If the MCCB Director of Applications and Data Management has questions or concerns with proceeding with the development of any feature request, the feature request is brought back before the consortium for discussion.
