Note: The time to generate the tests will depend on the quantity of tests selected as well as other test site print job volume. The process is not instantaneous. 8. Click the Download button on the row that shows your Completed Print Job. Note : This will generate PDF with the quantity of tests you selected. IMPORTANT! For security and integrity of the program, Tests should not be stored to your computer. ➢ You should choose to open and print the PDF.
➢ Do NOT save tests to your computer. ➢ Each download is usable only ONCE. ➢ If the hardcopy fails to print or is lost/damaged, it may be reprinted from the download. • UNLESS the test has been submitted OR 45 days have expired since original print date.
9. Once the tests are successfully printed, return to the Created Print Jobs section and DELETE the print job. Note : ONE copy of each test may be submitted ONE time for scoring. Test IDs are disabled after ONE submission or the 45 th day after printing, whichever occurs first.
Tips and Things to Remember
o Each individual test has a unique ID, individually created. o Test booklets can only be used once, for one test taker. o Printed tests expire 45 days after print date. • Tests will not score after they have expired. o It is recommended that tests be printed on an “as needed” basis. • Any extra test booklets should be shredded. •
If tests are stored during the 45-day period, they must be stored in accordance with NCCER’s Policies and Procedures.
o It is recommended that you prepare and print paper tests at least 24, but no more than 48 hours in advance so that adequate time is allotted to create and print the test booklets. o It is recommended that you separate the individual tests that were printed and staple them, in order, to keep the pages together.
