SBCJC BUSINESS d. IHL COLLABORATION MEETING ix.

On August 21 st Christian will meet with a consultant to discuss ways that MSVCC can collaborate and partner with IHL. He is attempting to create an agenda for the November meeting. He would like this meeting to be more goal oriented. There were five programs discussed at last year’s meeting as programs of interest for a two plus two program. The tentative date for the IHL meeting is Wednesday, November 12 th in the SBCJC board room. Christian Pruitt, Terry Pollard, Jennifer Leimer, Tish Stewart, and Buffy Matthews are planning on attending this meeting. Anyone is welcome to attend; however, it is not necessary for the entire association to attend the meeting. If you are unable to attend and would like to provide ideas or input, please contact one of these people. They will be happy to share your ideas during the meeting. Please identify specific disciplines that we may be able to move forward. It is also a good idea to get the input from your administrators. They may have additional ideas and thoughts that could be beneficial during this meeting. Terry Pollard has been updating the new msvcc.org website. The original website had not been updated since 2003. He has worked on building out the faculty development and student resource sites. Most of the content in the resource area has been updated, but still link the college information. vii. Jennifer Leimer and Tish Stewart suggested that the Presidium technical support information appear on the Student Resource home page. The students do not need to click to find that information. Although most student do not come directly to this website, the page can be linked from our individual college websites. There are times that students are directed to this website for information.
