5. CFTTC PreConference March 2-4th. 2 participants from each college paid to attend CFTTC. Google doc will be sent out to sign up attendees. Planning committee people will be covered plus two. 6. Professional Development Expenditures Talk of paying for attendance to attend other conferences of choice via MSVCC. Next year increase MILD grant funding to cover PD purposes only. Number choices of conferences on Google Doc from Brooke. Pricing point for conference will be discussed since cost per conference varies. Conferences can be added to the list, if needed. Numbers and names on list by Wednesday. 7. Respondus Monitor Audra talked to Nick regarding the monitor, which records test session. Not a proctor, but instructor would have access to videos. 4k addition to what we pay currently for monitor. Colleges interested in testing it would have the option to test with 200 seats. Pilot pricing with many instructors interested is available. Possibly deters cheating because student is recorded but cheating is not flagged. Is the monitor used separately from Lockdown Browser or in conjunction with? “Companion product.” Short video on the monitor on respondus.com. 8. MCCB Job Posting and Promotions Presidents approved job posting we recommended and Dr. Mayfield has given OK to advertise immediately. Position should post in December once Board approves. Shawn Mackey promoted to Dr. West’s position. 9. ET Wish List Items 1-8 not in production. 1 is complete. 2 needs narrative. 3 is completed with the exception of disclaimer. JJ requested self registration school to write it. Kim Ellis volunteered (times out in hour). 4 is complete. 5 is waiting on definition from ELC – students dropped will remain in some form of recycle bin/report. Student will have to recreate profile. 6 is complete. 7 clarification…never closes. Registration is always open but registration for the term closes at 11:59 on Friday before classes. #8 complete. #9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, 20, 21, 22, and 23 complete and pushed. #16 Different browsers being used so no way to change. Must click on GO. #17 Ive is waiting on MELA to give a list of terms. #19 waiting on ECCC. Disabling problem ECCC: all fall textbooks got deleted. Someone may have inadvertently clicked delete all textbooks. 21 courses disabled. Zero texts listed for the fall. Ive is adding a search for active/disabled. Ensure we’re uploading for spring and not for fall.
